Theia Vision Care™

Meet the Team

Dr. Koeck
C.E.O. and Doctor of Optometry

Hello and welcome to Theia Vision Care, where we provide eye care because we care! Fun fact: I am bilingual in English and Russian! I grew up and went to high school in Shorewood, WI where I explored interests in art, amnesty club, volleyball. Here I earned a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and graduated salutatorian. I went on to receive a full academic scholarship to UW-Madison where I earned a Bachelor’s of Business Degree with a triple major in Finance, Marketing, and Economics. Following university, I gained extensive medical and IT experience from working as a project manager for Epic Systems, an electronic medical record company, before deciding to pursue my passion for health and vision. Then I attended graduate school at the Illinois College of Optometry where I graduated cum laude in May of 2014. With extensive training during my rotations in optometry school, I completed my externships at the Hickam Airforce Base in Oahu, Hawaii; the Clement J. Zablocki VA in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago Illinois, with a focus on ocular and systemic disease and a Vision Therapy Center in Chicago Illinois. I proudly bring years of experience from medical private practice to retail optometric settings, and have optimized that experience into a unique model that focuses solely on you.

Holly Kraemer
Office Manager, Senior Optician, and Social Media Manager

Hey there, I’m Holly. I love to try new things, am always up for a challenge, and enjoy spreading kindness to those around me. A fun fact about me is that going to the optometrist was the one trip to the doctor I didn’t hate as a kid! I’ve been wearing glasses for 21 years and contact lenses for 13 years now. I love having the option to wear either depending on what I’m up to that day- hello versatility. I am severely near-sighted and love to stay active, so it’s really important to me that I find ways to enjoy life to the fullest degree without thick, heavy glasses holding me back. I’ve found options at Theia Vision Care that are thin, lightweight, and work great for me! One day, I want to help others in the same life-changing way my eye doctor helped me! The gift of sight is so precious.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology: pre-optometry track in Spring 2019. I now work as the office manager, senior optician, and social media manager here. I like to think that I bring a refreshing dose of positivity, a thirst for learning and improvement, and strong problem solving and organization skills to the table. I can’t wait to meet you and use my optical training and personal experience to find the right fit for you in our optical!

Morgan

Morgan
Intern

Hello! I’m Morgan, and I am a new intern at Theia Vision Care. I am also a sophomore at Creighton University studying biochemistry. At school, I love spending time with my Kappa Kappa Gamma sisters, trying new coffee shops, and exploring Omaha. When I’m not studying, I love to travel, volunteer, watch movies, try new foods, and spend time with family. I couldn’t be more excited to learn about optometry. I’ve been wearing glasses since I was about three years old, but picking out a new pair is still one of my favorite things to do! Finding a pair of glasses that are comfortable, functional, and stylish is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. In the future, I want to work in eyecare and help others feel confident with their vision.

I’m excited to continue learning about optometry and bring fresh ideas to Theia Vision Care. As someone who has struggled with vision problems for most of my life, I can definitely relate to patients and make sure they have the best experience possible! I look forward to meeting you!
